1. Agenda for October 10

  1. Status check on Sections.

  2. Brainstorm ideas for 4th issue.

  3. Discuss whether we want to include a student art/creative writing section.

  4. Reflect on second issue of Sage.

2. Agenda for October 8

  1. Class discussion on the direction and mission of Sage, hopefully ending in a "mission statement" we can put on the site.

  2. Assign the 3rd set of articles

  3. Define roles of each group and the expectations that will govern them for the rest of the semester.

  4. Second articles due!!

  5. Go over class expectations and agreements.

2.1. Summarized Minutes from October 10

We:

  1. Reviewed class expectations and agreements -- the basics of what we expect of ourselves as a class.

  2. Reviewed the new timeline/basic agenda format for how we will run class meetings.

  3. Defined roles of each group and broke up into groups at the end of the class for ten minutes.

  4. Discussed the timeline for the next two issues of Sage -- the one which will come out on Thursday, October 24 (our Halloween issue!) and also Thursday, October 31.

  5. Discussed and assigned the third set of articles.

  6. Considered the idea of hosting a Sage-sponsored (or co-sponsored) movie night on Halloween.
