1. Chemistry 321/521 Mathematical Modeling of Chemical Phenomena
This course is essentially a workshop course in developing mathematical models for natural phenomena. The first segment will focus on developing some practical skills with Mathematica and web page construction. The second workshop will examine "random walks", modeling systems of randomly (and not so randomly!) moving particles. A third workshop will look at chaotic phenomena. What is chaos? Can it be modeled? When is it of interest to chemists? to others?

Questions on the course can be posted here.
1.2. Feedback for the instructor
Comment on the course! Chemistry and Math combined, especially with any kind of statistics, ought to be alot of fun. I am really looking forward to random walks.-MB'04
