Production Schedule

Potential schedule:

· Plans for this issue – We are still waiting on pieces by Diana, Shadia, and Sumaya…though I’d hoped we would update today, I think it would be best if we again postponed. Over the weekend, I will make sure that everything we need is on the Wiki and edited (and hopefully that our photos will be scanned and ready to go) so an update is quick and painless. Is there any chance you could let me know when you might be free early next week for an update?

· Our next two issues left for this year. We want to have a Prospective Students-type issue (which will relate to my next bulleted point) for the middle of April and also a May Day (SOS – it’s finals time!) issue to come out around May Day.

· SAGE 6-month anniversary. We want to do sponsor an inexpensive but fun event, probably a kickball game on Merion Green. (Just so you know!) We’ll need to put up posters, send out e-mails, etc. to advertise. We still have a little $ left over from the Hell Week Tea, too.

· Prospective Students Weekend: We all agreed that what SAGE needs is more writers – and the way to do this and ensure our success next year is to get the incoming frosh involved. Here’s what we like to do for the Student Activities Fair on Sunday night of Spec Weekend:

§ Get in touch with A/V and find a way to have the SAGE website projected onto a wall in TGH during the fair. Students could see what it looks like and then come over to our table. § Decals. How much did those SAGE decals cost? The magnets may be too much to spend, but the decals may be within our price range. We want to have something neat & memorable to give to the incoming frosh. This would take time to print, though, so we have to decide what the plan is – What do you recommend price-wise? Where did you get the label sheets? § Flyers/banners. Easy enough to make, and we still have supplies from the SAGE poster-making tea last semester. § Extra bubbles from the SAGE bubble tea & candy to give away. Lure ‘em in! § Some kind of brochure or pamphlet for them to take. § A laptop set up on the table for interested frosh to input their contact information (looks more tech-y than a sign-in sheet, and would help us stay organized!) § One thing that the other editors asked about was if there is any way we could add an option on the site to have articles available in a “printer friendly format.” This would give us the option of printing some articles, if we decided to (and having them look good on a hard copy). I don’t know if that’s feasible but said I would ask.
