1. Project 1: Uphill Analysis and Downhill Invention
Goal: to explore the "law" of uphill analysis and downhill invention.
1.1. Instructions
First, design a Pyro robot brain that has the robot do some interesting behaviors. Next, show the behavior to some friends without showing them how the brain actually works. Try not to bias them, or give them hints, on how it works. As the robot is running, ask them to describe the behavior. Finally, afterwards, ask them to make some guesses on how the robot works. Note what kinds of mental structures or mental mechanisms that they may (or may not) attribute to the robot (for example: memory, desire, fear, randomness, etc.)
