Reflection
Although I knew “Weaving the Web” was going to be a completely different kind of CSEM, I didn’t know it would be the only class of the semester that I would enjoy. Although I didn’t participate in class that much, I felt like I had the freedom to do and write what I wanted, to write how I wanted. It gave me a chance to try a different style of writing all together, which I never thought I would enjoy doing this much.
While working on “Sage” magazine, I learned of many activities and issues that were occurring on-campus. I always thought I wasn’t in-tune with what was going on on-campus, but I never knew I was that out of it. It gave me a chance to learn about was happening in the Bryn Mawr community and writing for “Sage” made me feel like I was contributing to the community somehow. I got a chance to work with other people on a couple of articles, so I experienced some group work, and I also got the chance to learn to take a proper interview the Provost on my own.
All I can say is that “Sage” was definitely a great experience for me, in the sense that there were so many things I got a chance do that I would never have if I took any other CSEM. Thank you Deepak!
