Layout Designs

Here are three layout designs I've created.

I created two different layouts. Sumaya and I had similiar layout ideas and basically she beat me to it by creating webpages. I have exceeded my quota on the Bartik server and was unable to post it up on the web for everyone to see. If anyone is willing to lend me their webspace for about a day, I would greatly appreciate it. I will be going ask for more space in Guild once I get a chance today after class. I have it on Zip disk so I can run it off Deepak's computer and show everyone my layouts that way. Thanks! --Karen

Suggestions

Here are three web magazines I found online and how they differ. -- Samara

http://www.naturephotographers.net/index.html -- This site is very easy to navigate and looks as though it closely resembles the three-column layout we discussed in class.

http://www.salon.com/ -- A different approach (a lot more content than we'll have). However, I like this one because it has its navigation horizontally at the top of the page, instead of along the left-hand side.

http://www.wired.com/news/ -- Navigation along both axis.
