our sun is like a normal star. gas escapes through holes in the sun at up to 2 million mph. if you were 62 miles or closer, you would be on fire. the suns surface is 27 million degrees F. there is also storms on the sun. some spread in every direction. some sun storms may effect earth like causing power outage like the one in new york.
