Message-ID: <429F251E.20807@ee.duke.edu> Hi, Has anyone gotten Gramps+tk to run with the latest Gramps2 on a Mac (OSX 10.4.1)? I seem to be having some issues with python finding the the Berkeley DB modules (issue being that I don't have it installed ;-). Any recommendations about either 1) where to get the modules, or 2) how to configure Gramps not to use them (autoconf on the Mac seems to have some problems with the configure.in file supplied with Gramps2). Sorry if these questions are FAQ's. -bill rankin From dblank at mainline.brynmawr.edu Thu Jun 2 16:57:50 2005 From: dblank at mainline.brynmawr.edu (Douglas S. If someone else takes a look, I'd be glad to work their changes into the codebase. I was waiting until GRAMPS 2.0 settles down a bit, and then revisit the DB layer. I'd really like to replace it with a generic interface, which could be a real SQL database, a network connection, or a flatfile. But I won't be able to get to that till later this summer. -Doug Bill Rankin wrote: > Hi, > > Has anyone gotten Gramps+tk to run with the latest Gramps2 on a Mac (OSX > 10.4.1)? > > I seem to be having some issues with python finding the the Berkeley DB > modules (issue being that I don't have it installed ;-).
