I have just installed Pyrobot and I am having trouble running the aria simulator and loading the aria robot within Pyro. we I connect, it tries to connect to the robot, eg saying that it is syncing. however, I cannot get the simulator to connect with the Aria.py robot. I have the newest version on Pyrobot, and the newest Aria. one thing I did not do is install aria before I installed Pyrobot. Could this be a problem? I would just like to run the avoid brain on the simulator, in a world to see what I can play with before I try to connect to the real robot. in regard to connecting to the real robot, do we need to install player on the robot? as well as Pyrobot? I have only just started using Pyrobot, and I believe that it is a fantastic program. any help would be great. I have a set of coordinates that i am reading off a function from MATLAB and it is giving me the next position my robot has to go to as well as the speed . i was just wondering if i could tell the robot to go to a certain coordinate, e.g. (x:y) location at a certain speed (d). i know i can do it another way using the rotation and translation command by calculating the next point, but i wondering if there is an easier way of doing it? Then I tried to follow the tutorial prepared by AAAI, but was getting some errors about stage plugin libraries. After installing stage this error (libstageplugin.so) did not disappear but actually in my second try I started getting my initial error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/pyrobot", line 59, in ? raise "$PYTHONPATH needs to include dir ABOVE where $PYROBOT is installed" $PYTHONPATH needs to include dir ABOVE where $PYROBOT is installed After many trials I couldn't get rid of it. I would be glad if somebody could help me resolve these errors. I run Fedora Core 4 (2.6.12) Thank you Mentar -- ================= Mentar Mahmudi International University Bremen College Ring 6 Mailbox 497 28759 Bremen Germany
